In 2023, a friend came to me with an idea. He had a good-tasting, functional drink he had mixed up in his kitchen, and a dream. So, how do you take a beverage from great-tasting, nameless liquid to grocery stores and bars across the country?

THE CREATIVE SOLUTION

The foundation of this brand was based in Gen Z research: the kids aren't drinking alcohol like previous generations. And with the alternative beverage scene all but exploding, we saw a blue sky opportunity to create the first NA beverage option in our local Rochester, NY market. 

The social tonic space is dominated by high priced, weird tasting, aspirational drinks with famous names attached (Hi, Bella Hadid!), and we thought "What if our social tonic was as accessible as any other dive bar bev?" No promises of euphoria, perfect skin, or a mind-altering trip, just a great tasting drink that helps you relax , without the hangover the next day...wouldn't that be lucky?

Serving as a one-person creative department, I built the brand end-to-end, from initial concept and naming through packaging design, campaign development, and market-entry strategy.
